Position Purpose: /
- The Physiotherapist Grade 1/2 encompasses a clinical caseload and clinical supervision of Grade 1 Physiotherapists if required and Physiotherapy students/Allied Health Assistants. Physiotherapist ½ will form an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and will be required to provide highly responsive and flexible services to consumers whilst upholding a high level of professionalism and practising within the core values of Mercy Health. This position is essentially for TACP (Transitional Aged Care Program) and possibility of work in other areas as required. The Grade 1/2 Physiotherapist will act as a role model by encouraging a best practice philosophy amongst staff and will be expected to demonstrate a high level of skill.
Qualifications & Requirements: /
- Recognised Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current Physiotherapy Registration with NSWPhysiotherapy Registration Board
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (or equivalent) with no restrictions
- Experience in varied clinical areas
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A willingness to assume the duties of a higher grade as required

Provided patients with appropriate equipment to facilitate safe discharge

Display understanding of the issues of acute and sub-acute HealthCare and outcome measures for patients
Patient care is planned in conjunction with the treating multidisciplinary team and clearly documented

Plan and develop the inservice program for TACP clients.
