Basic Course Information

In this class you will be learning about the particles that make up our world, the forces that control how our world works, and how to solve real-world problems. Think of it as an introduction to the chemistry and physics classes you will take in high school. During the year, we will investigate many topics including scientific inquiry, matter, force and motion, electricity and magnetism, waves, the periodic table, chemical formulas, chemical reactions, and acids and bases.

As before, infractions will reset each week (on Tuesday, rather than Monday) while positive points continue to accumulate for a period of time. Students and parents will each receive a code with which to create an account to follow their points and infractions in real time. For more information, please contact your advisory teacher.
