Phones, Phones hooray!

Most teens have their phone with them everywhere they go, except for school. Phones should be allowed, and encouraged, at school because it can improve studies, students aren’t as likely to leave them at school as text books, and the school doesn’t have to buy expensive text books, to only have to buy new ones the next year.

Using phones at school can improve a student’s studies. Students can download apps to help them better understand a subject. Also they can take a picture or their homework so they don’t have to carry an agenda around school all day.Additionally, they can record audio from class to review later that day when the y study. Having a phone at school can really help a student academically.

Classmates are not as likely to leave their phones at school as they are if they were carrying a textbook. Most students use their phones 24/7, so if they did lose it they can easily remember the last place they used it. Also, if they were to lose it most phones have trackers pre installed to find the phone if it were to be lost. The constant teen necessity of having a cell phone can translate well over to school.

If teachers allowed use of cell phones in class, the school wouldn’t have to buy expensive textbooks or agendas for students. Instead, they could access the online textbook. Also, they can take a picture of their homework instead of writing it down. The school will save money, because they don’t have to buy textbooks every year. The school can use this extra money for fun activities such as fieldtrips. Carrying a textbook can create unnecessary stress on the back and neck, unlike a phone. Using a phone at school is all around better.

Some may claim that having phonesin school will distract students. They could be distracted by playing games or texting.Whileactually, most phones have a way to control when certain apps are opened, so games can only be accessed at home.

Inconclusion, it seems obvious that having access to phones in class will improve us academically, reduce the hassle of carrying large stacks of books between classes, and make school all around easier. If we all band together and work hard, we can change school forever.
