Repair of Main Rotor Blade of Bell helicopter.
Following Main Rotor Blade of Bell helicopter held by us need repair of the defect.

Digital photographs of defect including dimensions of crack/ defect on the above main rotor blade are available on our website .
We invite quotations as per our below listed terms and conditions :
1.Quotations only from Bell Helicopter authorized blade repair facilities listed in Customer Support and Service Directory of Bell Helicopter, will be accepted by us.
2.Price quoted for repair of defect on blade should include, inspection, labour, repair, testing etc. Price quoted should be firm, fixed and on CFR New Delhi basis.
3.Main Rotor Blade will be dispatched to the repair agency on freight prepaid basis. However, return freight and insurance charges should be included in the quote and separately mentioned as return freight charges for the blade.
- Turn around time for carrying out the job mentioned above should be specified for each component. Liquidated Damages @ 0.5% of the cost of equipment overdue for each of the first four full weeks and then @ 1% for each subsequent full week of the delay thereafter will be applicable for delay in delivery due to reasons attributable to the repair agency. However, total amount of Liquidated Damages shall not exceed 10% of the cost of the equipment delayed. Should the delay in delivery is of more than three months, Pawan Hans Helicopters has the right to cancel unfulfilled part of the contract.
- All mandatory modifications will be complied on the blade during repair.
- Warranty/guarantee applicable on the blade after repair/overhaul of the job specified should be mentioned in the quote.
- New spares/material obtained from OEMs only will be used during repair and price for the same charged to us will not exceed the listed price of the OEMs.
- Job required to be carried out as mentioned above shall be duly certified in appropriate documents and airworthiness release certificate as applicable will be provided alongwith the blades after completion of the job.
- You are requested to enclose the approval certificate from Regulatory Authority of your country or FAA regarding capability of your AMC to carry out the required job on Main Rotor Blade of Bell helicopter listed above.
- Validity of quotes, labour rates should be specified in the quote.
- Average man hours and maximum man hours required to complete the job on each blade as per your past experience should also be specified.
12.Pawan Hans may not accept any upward revision of quotes by repair agency after receipt of blades by repair agency. Pawan Hans under such situation will not be liable to pay any inspection/handling charges and may ask the repair agency to return back the blades without repairs.
13.Repair agency, for repair of blade will be selected based on competitive repair charges, delivery schedule.
- The wax sealed quotation should be submitted before the last date i.e. 1500 hrs on 23rd July 2009
- The date of tender opening will be 1600 hrs on 23rd July 2009
The envelop superscribed as “TE-79 dated 9th July 2009 – Quote for carrying out Repair of Main Rotor Blade of Bell helicopter” should reach us by 23rd July 2009 at the following address.

The quotes received only in wax sealed envelop by 1500 hrs (Indian Standard Time) on 23rd July2009 will be opened on 23rd July2009 at 1600 hrs (Indian Standard Time). In case you desire, your representative may be present on 23rd July2009 at 1600 hrs at our Corporate Office, during opening of quotations.
