Should the United States be oil dependent? Why or why not?
- EXTENSION - Bring in at least one small sample that contains petroleum so we can create a 3-D “artwork” - THIS CANNOT BE ANYTHING THAT IS FLAMMABLE - NO MATCHES, LIGHTERS, GAS OR GAS CANS, ETC… After you begin the research, you will find things that you have all around you that are made from petroleum. I bet there are things right here in the classroom, too. Each class will create a 3-D art poster from the items you bring in. Which class will have the most interesting 3-D art poster? You decide!
The second part of this assignment is to create an infographic that incorporates the above information - this is for a project grade. You may create the infographic using technology, poster board or other medium. You may work with a partner or on your own. If you use technology, be sure to use Google and share with your partner, if necessary.
