Job Role
Assisting the Research and Evaluation Lead on all research and evaluation areas including project set-up and management, data collection, analysis, reporting, training and internal and external communication
Job Responsibilities
To provide administrative support and training to staff in data collection and input within the business systems.
To provide peer research training to external agencies, staff and clients
Ensure business systems, including InForm are being used effectively and assist with the development of them where required.
To ensure appropriate data is collected and undertake any data processing and data checking as required.
To undertake statistical and analysis work as assigned.
To help with qualitative data collection including interviews, focus groups and assist with and support the Peer Research programme.
To help with compilation of literature reviews, including appropriate academic and other secondary evidence as required.
To support and undertake the writing of accurate and adequate reporting.
To work closely with the Research and Evaluation Lead, Peer Researchers, Service Navigators, System Brokers and Project Manager on common projects
Maintain in depth and up-to-date knowledge of all Changing Lives policies and procedures.
Present a professional image of the Fulfilling Lives Programme at all times.
Comply with all legal and health and safety requirements.
To work to the performance standards provided and requested by the Fulfilling Lives programme.
To carry out any other reasonable requests.

Qualifications /
  • Educated either to a degree level in a relevant subject, or previous experience in a relevant field

  • Educated to either a degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Training and/or qualification (formally or through extensive experience) to undertake statistical calculations using statistical computer software (Excel, R, or other programmes)

Experience /
  • Experience in data processing
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Experience in qualitative research methods
  • Experience in collating academic and secondary evidence
  • Experience of working in an environment that requires confidentiality
  • Experience of working in an environment that is health and safety conscious

  • Experience in applied research methods
  • Experience of working in a similar role in a charity
  • A track record of successful working with colleagues
  • Experience in report writing
  • Experience in training delivery
