QUALIFICATIONS / Completed Anglican Ministerial Training / Application form
EXPERIENCE / Experience in the typical range of Church of England parish ministry
Proven commitment to and delivery of church growth
Experience of developing ministry with children, young people and families, particularly through schools
Experience of developing a church’s prayer life and delivering thoughtful biblical teaching
Enthusiasm and passion for the vocational and spiritual development of God’s people, with a track record of growing their gifts and confidence / Track record of nurturing and developing good relationships with the local community and its leaders
Experience of co-ordinating and embracing different styles of worship mission in a ‘mixed economy’
Experience of vocational discernment / Application form and interview
TRAINING / Satisfactorily completed IME
Enthusiastic engagement with own continuing ministerial and professional development / Application form and interview
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / Knowledge/understanding of changing patterns of mission and ministry in the Church.
Ability to write clear and concise reports / Working awareness of the spiritual and psychological processes of human development combined with a practical knowledge of what motivates vocational choices.
