Abba House – Garden Work

Abba House is a long-term residential ministry for women with emotional wounding.Volunteers will plant flowers and mulch new flower beds. This is a family friendly project and children of all ages are welcome to attend. Please wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes. Bring a smile and a heart to serve! Volunteers need to be at least 15 years of age. Please wear clothes can that get dirty and comfortable shoes. Bring a smile and a heart to serve! Volunteers will help fill Foster Care bags for children who are suddenly put into foster care. Volunteers are asked to bring immediate need items for a specific age child. The items will then be packed into a backpack that will be used for a child who is suddenly placed into foster care. And/Or you can bring donations for the bags as well as new, unwrapped toys to be given to a child at the annual Foster Care Christmas party.This is a family friendly project. Volunteers will help create Birthmother Keepsake Boxes filling them with personal items and a handmade keepsake bracelet, which are presented to the birthmothers on your behalf, each is told of your respect for her sacrifice and your prayers for her. Volunteers are asked to bring an unwrapped gift to be given to a child during Bethany’s Annual Christmas Party. Children's Restoration Network- Take Homeless Boys Fishing(PROJECT FULL)

The mission of Children's Restoration Network is to offer hope and support enabling children and their mothers to break the cycle of homelessness and to address their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. We will visit a mosque to observe prayer time and have a question and answer time as well. We will then go to a culture center to learn about our Turkish friends who have come to live in Atlanta.
