The rhythm of the music is regular to communicate the sense of a pendulum swinging or the steady tick-tock of a clock..

The start and end of each section is clearly signified by a change in the music, each new section connects to a different theme within the dance.

The music is electronic and connects with the dance style having a modern feel. Some sections use instruments that are associated with Indian music.
Dynamics
The dynamics of the dance vary from section to section to connect with the theme.
Climax
The final section includes the climax of the dance, this is made clear in the music by an increase in tempo.
Mood
The music adds mood to the dance by varying the tempo, in the section based upon pregnancy & growth the musk is slow and steady to suggest that growth takes place steadily; whereas the final section has fast paced music to suggest that time is running out and to give a sense of urgency.
Era
The music is relatively modern which helps us to see the issue of time as a lifestyle pressure as recent.
Volume/Intensity
Most of the music is played at a constant volume, but there are moments where the music is quieter to suggest intimacy (such as the pregnancy section) or addressing a serious topic.
