1 month / Mail/ email confirmation letter to faculty with a copy of lecture slides and/or skill station scenarios (2005 – pdfs are on the CDROM)
Select food for meals and breakouts if appropriate
Ensure building security access for 7:00 AM each day
2 weeks / Mail confirmation letter, books, pretest, answer sheet and directions to students
Confirm all reservations:
AV, rooms, supplies, etc.
Confirm arrival times with Medical Director and faculty

2 Days

/ Confirm food for meals and breaks (48hrs) as appropriate (Consider bottle water for faculty)
Set up registration area
Photocopy any needed supplies, tests, additional handouts, evaluation tools

PM Before

/ Set up classroom and post skills/ scenario room signs
Notify receptionist and building security as necessary

Day ONE

of PEPP

/ Collect and grade pre-test (note any pattern in answers) with Registration
Welcome, introductions, orientation to facility including fire escapes & facility specifics
Distribute course agenda and review
Distribute evaluation forms to students and faculty
Monitor flow of course
Day TWO
of PEPP / Ensure correct addresses for all students and faculty
Identify potential instructors from course participants
Collect ALL tests and books if not owned by the students
Follow up for course / Return borrowed equipment – skills, AV and others
Submit roster to AAP online through web
SAVE & SAVE Often
Send Course Completion form to EMSC Office ( or@ FAX 410-706-3660)
Send appropriate documentation of paperwork for continuing education to jurisdiction and MIEMSS E,LC
Thank you letters with evaluation feedback to faculty and cc medical director
Receive PEPP Cards from AAP national office, sign and date, distribute to students
Print a copy of your completed roster from the PEPP website for your records
