On November 29, 2004, Kenneth Schumacher was sentenced to 30 days in jail without work release for a second violation of probation. A hearing for the second probation violation was held on September 10, 2004, in which Judge Susan Grant in the 77thDistrict Court in Reed City ruled that Mr. Schumacher was again in violation of a probation order entered on August 22, 2001. The Probation Order required Mr.Schumacher to remediate the Schumacher Salvage site located in Osceola County on M-66 according to a schedule to remove tires from the site.

Mr. Schumacher was previously sentenced to 30 days in jail for violation of his terms of probation in 2003 and was allowed a work release to clean up the site. DEQ staff site inspections could not determine that any work was conducted during the previous work release.

On September 9, 2004, Kenneth Schumacher was found in violation of a probation order entered on August 15, 2002, by Judge Susan Grant in the 77th District Court. The Probation Order required Mr. Schumacher to remediate the Schumacher Salvage Site located in Osceola County on M-66 according to a schedule to remove tires from the site. This is the second violation of probation for Mr. Schumacher for failure to comply with the schedule. The previous violation of probation resulted in a 30-day jail sentence with work release during the day to remediate the site. The sentencing hearing for the second probation violation is being scheduled in the 77th District Court in Reed City.

On January 29, 2004, Kenneth Schumacher was found in violation of a probation order entered on August 15, 2002, by Judge Susan Grant in the 77thDistrict Court in Reed City. Mr.Schumacher was sentenced to 30 days in jail for violation of his terms of probation. The Probation Order required Mr.Schumacher to remediate the Schumacher Salvage site located in Osceola County on M-66 according to a schedule to remove tires from the site. Mr.Schumacher was found to have failed to comply with the schedule. Mr. Schumacher will be released from jail during the day to continue the remediation of the tires from the site under the surveillance of the Osceola Sheriff Department.

On December 15, 2003, Kenneth Schumacher was found in violation of a probation order entered on August 15, 2002, by Judge Susan Grant in the 77thDistrict Court. The Probation Order required Mr. Schumacher to remediate the Schumacher Salvage site located in Osceola County on M-66 according to a schedule to remove tires from the site. Mr. Schumacher was found to have failed to comply with the schedule. A sentencing hearing will be held on January 29, 2004, at the 77th District Court in Reed City.
