Penn’s Way Participation– Overview

Participating and pledging a donation in the Penn’s Way campaign can be completed with 5 simple steps in under 5 minutes!

This video will walk you through this participation process step by step.

Please note: you will need your Pennkey and Password in order to access the Penn’s Way Pledge Portal.If you do not have that information handy, please click on the Penn Key Online Reset link, which is accessible from the UPHS Intranet page, to reset this information.

Step 1: Access the Penn’s Way Site

The Penn’s Way site can be accessed by typing in “Penn’s Way”via any internetbrowsersearch bar OR by clicking the Penn’s Way Icon under the What’s Hot section on the Penn Medicine Intranet Homepage.

Step 2: Submit your Donation and/or Participation

Once you access the Penn’s Way site, click the “Donate” tab, scroll down on the site and find the button that say “donate” and click it.

Step 3: Log-in to the Penn’s Way Portal

Simply enter your Penn Key information to gain access to the portal and click “log-in”

Step 4: Entering your pledge

Click the Enter my pledge link (pictured here)

Step 5: Complete the ePledge Form

Complete the following form with your ePledge information. Once your information is entered, click proceed.

Please note:If you participated in the campaign last year, the form will pre-populate that information for you. If you do not wish to change this information, simply click the green “proceed” button at the bottom of the page.

If you would like to modify any section, just click on the section you would like to modify and type in the adjusted information.

If you need assistance with this process, please reach out to your Departments designated Penn’s Way Captain.

Step 6: Confirm your pledge

The pledge confirmation will vary depending on the payment method you selected. Opting for a payroll deduction is the fastest way to complete the process. The following is a breakdown of the confirmations for payment by payroll deduction, credit card, check, cash and if you opted to participate elsewhere.

Payroll Deduction

If you selected a Payroll deduction, congratulations!The donation process is complete! You will see the following screen which you can print for your records.

Contributing Elsewhere

If you selected “contributing elsewhere”, congratulations! The donation process is complete! You will see the following screen which you can print for your records.

Credit Card Payment

If you selected a credit card payment, you have one last step. You will be prompted to click the green accept button at the bottom of the page. Once that is done you have completed the Penn’s Way Participation Process!

Pay By Check

If you opt to pay by check, the following screen will appear. Your contribution will not be complete until you submit a check with a copy of the screen to your Penn’s Way Captain and it is logged in by a Penn’s Way Coordinator:

Pay With Cash

If you opt to pay with cash the following screen will appear. Your contribution will not be complete until you submit the cash donation with a copy of the screen below to your Penn’s Way Captain and it is logged in by a Penn’s Way Coordinator:
