Summary
The position performs a wide variety of sales and administrative duties to facilitate the effective performance of the Wine Club Department. This position also performs service and sales duties for in-bound and out-bound telephone and email sales. The Wine Club Associate will be highly motivated, friendly and energetic, possess a positive and professional attitude, strong work ethic and excellent computer knowledge. The right candidate for this position will have the opportunity to become part of a positive and dynamic team that balances outstanding guest service with sales and administrative success while using excellent independent judgment and time-management skills to problem solve.
Essential Job Functions
This full time position provides support to the Wine Club and Direct to Consumer departments.

General Administration:
•Record and update guest and member profiles, correct addresses, merge duplicates and process cancellations making any changes necessary to maintain database accuracy
•Entry of new customers into the Peju guest database
•Perform packaging/mail/postal functions needed to facilitate contact with new and existing members.
•Perform administrative functions of monthly retention/recognition programs including mail, email and phone requirements
•Assist in monthly reports
•All other duties and projects to support the Consumer Direct Department and functions
Guest Service and Sales:
•Answer inbound telephone calls from potential guests, members and visitors
•Develop new ideas to sell Peju products through internet, phone, wine club or other channels
•Assist guests with the purchase of wine and merchandise by phone and email
•Send emails and respond promptly to guests in a highly professional manner
•Explain products, services or prices and redirect inbound calls as needed
•Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone in order to offer new and existing products (wine club, promotional packages, events, etc.)
•Recommend to guests the hotels and restaurants that carry Peju wines
Job Requirements and Qualifications
•Team player with a positive attitude
•Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce highly accurate results with minimal supervision.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
•High School diploma, additional education preferred
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Sales and relationship marketing experience
•AMS experience or similar POS software experience
•Appreciation and/or knowledge of wine
•Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work product
•Ability to build and enhance internal and external customer relationships
•Ability to solve problems in a creative manner
•Proficiency in basic computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
•Ability to learn new systems and procedures (AMS)
•Sitting at a desk making phone calls for many hours each day
•The ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English both verbally and in writing
•Basic data entry and customer management
•Organizational and administrative skills including envelope stuffing, filing, scheduling, making appointments and following up with guests
