Pebblepad Basic:

Uploading File

Please when uploading your file do not include your name in the title, instead use your student number.

You can upload any file type to Pebblepad. To do so click the menu button in the top left of the screen, then select “I would like to add a new” and then file:

You then select the choose a file and browse to it.

This takes you to the upload screen:

You file will then be uploaded and ready to submit.

Viewing Files

To then view your uploaded go to the menu in the top left , select “I would like to view my” and then “asset store” which will then display the work you have stored on pebblepad.

Submitting you work:

From your asset store, highlight the work you wish to submit by clicking on it once, then click the submit button in the bottom right hand corner. The workspace manager will load and you should only have one workspace – “Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology” and a list of assignments to the right of this:

Click the assignment you wish to submit to, so it is highlighted, then click submit.

This will load the next screen, which confirms the name of the file you are submitting and a usage statement that is asking you to confirm it is your own work. Clicking “I Agree” will submit your work, clicking no will exit and not submit the work.

When you click I agree you should then see the following:

You will then receive e-mail confirmation that, that part of the assignment has been submitted. The e-mail will go to your Uwe e-mail account. You can then repeat these steps for each piece of work you want to submit.

You have until 2pm on the 23rd March to submit your work.

What happens if I want to change my work?

If for any reason you choose to edit a piece of work BEFORE THE DEADLINE, you will need to resubmit the work following the steps above. We will only accept the piece of work submitted last (unless it is after the deadline)

If for any reason you wish to withdraw a submission, please contact Russell Brookes via e-mail, stating in the e-mail you name, student number and title of the exact piece of work and date submitted.

If you have any technical issues or problems during the submission process please contact Russell who can assist you in office hours.

Please give yourself plenty of time to complete the submission process, don’t leave it till the last minute.
