Scholarship Information

Funding from Our Church’s Wider Mission (OCWM) has been designated to offer need-based scholarships for UCC members to participate in Peace Village: Faith Formation in A Multifaith World. The amount of scholarship support awarded will depend on both applicants’ need and availability of funds. To help ensure faithful stewardship of scholarship funds, please take time to carefully reflect on what you are able to pay and how much additional support you will need to attend this event. The scholarship application deadline is Friday, August 30, 2013.

Once we receive your application, we will respond with information about the amount of scholarship funds you will receive, as well as the registration process. Please do not register for Peace Village until you have received notification regarding your scholarship application status and related details.

Expectations of UCC Scholarship Recipients include the following:

  • Current membership in a UCC church
  • Commit to participating in Peace Village for the duration of the event days (Thursday, October 3 through Friday, October 4)
  • After the event, commit to sharing your experience with local congregation or other affiliated ministry group

____ Transportation cost as funds are available (up to 50% of transportation cost, not to exceed $200, reimbursed after event upon submission of airline receipt or driving mileage information).
