CMHS Spring 2013 Parent survey indicates that 77% of teachers respond back to parents within 24 hours.
From the TWC survey Question 5.1.d School administrators consistently enforce rules for student conduct teachers indicated that this happened 66.7% of time down from 89% the year before.
Student discipline information not always communicated clearly between the main office staff and teachers.
What procedures are in place when the ISS staff member is absent? Communicate this to teachers.
Explain processes, policies, and procedures to new staff members at the beginning of the school year and for those that come in during the middle of the year.

Mrs. Platt has been identified as the person who will be in the control room when Mr. Gittens is out
Staff has been through an initial training on how to use schoolwires to update and maintain their web pages
Staff has been trained on how to use Powerschool
Parents have been notified about how to access and use the parent portal
Monthly staff meetings/ celebrations have been taking place
Admins have had 2 meetings with parents
Facebook feed is on main page of web site and info is updated to that feed as needed
We participated in a Walk-In where community members came into the school to view classrooms and discuss the challenges faced by educators this school year. / What opportunities for improvement were noted in that data?
All teachers are still not displaying morning announcements in the classroom
We have refined many of our processes and sent to staff via email. We need to document them and place in the shared folder.
Announcements are not being shown on the TVs. Wait until we have 2nd semester and new computers so we can dedicate one of the computers to just doing this.
Not all teachers are updating their web sites monthly
Admins - keep track of ideas that come from meetings with parents and reflect on any changes that need to be made / Information/Data needed that you do not have.
Removing action step about the Dashboard in Schoolwires. This will not be available this school year.
