Pci Express Ggp Power Supply

PCI EXPRESS GGP POWER SUPPLY :

The PCI Express GGP Power supply provide filtered +12v and high current +5v to the GGP card.

The assembly consist in a 27x92 mm card that after the calibration procedure will be jacket in a termofit sheat. In figure 1 a view of the instument. The card is associated to the cable that are present in the picture.

Test procedure consists In the following steps:

1. Optical inspection if the components are correctly assembled and check the solder quality.
2. Check for short circuits at the input side and output side
3. Supply 12V at the input side
4. Check if the 12v are preset at the output side
5. Check the 5v output and turn P1 potentiometer to reach 5.5V at the output
6. Cut 10cm of 30mm wide termofit and close the power supply as show in the following pictures

Cut the termofit at the card length and heat the assembly for reach the desired shape

Place a connector on the other side of the card before heating in order to form the key space
