Paw Pleasers Pet Resort - Conditions of Service
1. Paw Pleasers Pet Resort (herein after known as the “Facility”) agrees to exercise due diligence and reasonable care, and to keep the premises sanitary and properly enclosed. All pets are handled and cared for by Facility staff without liability on Facility's part for any problems that develop arising from my dog’s attendance and/or participation at the Facility. It is expressly agreed that the Facility's liability shall in no event exceed the sum of $200.00 per pet. The Owner of the pet agrees to pay reasonable attorney fees incurred by the Facility in the collections of any charges for services incurred by the Owner of the pet.
2. I certify that my dog is in good health and has not been ill with any communicable condition. The Owner must provide written valid proof of all required vaccinations prior to the pet's first visit, when vaccinations are updated. I also certify that my pet is on a prevention program for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Pets arriving with fleas and/or ticks will be treated at the Owner's expense. The Facility expressly disclaims any responsibility for fleas or other parasites. The Facility reserves the right to refuse services or admittance to any dog for any reason.
3. Should any pet become ill or seem to be in need of medical attention, within the sole discretion of the facility staff, the Facility reserves the right to administer aid and/or to use the veterinarian specified by the Owner, or any other veterinarian, if necessary. The owner will be notified as soon as possible.
4. I understand and agree that dogs can sometimes receive minor cuts and scratches at daycare and any problems that develop with my pet will be treated as deemed best by the staff at this facility. Any expenses so incurred shall be paid by the Owner of said pet in addition to other fees incurred for services provided at or by the Facility. The play yards at this Facility are gravel/astro turf for the safety of your pet. Gravel can be easily cleaned and disinfected. I understand that pets that are not accustomed to walking/playing on hard surfaces may experience some paw irritation until they’re feet adjust.
5. Nightly boarding fees begin the day of drop off regardless of check in time. All pets picked up after 12pm will be charged a $10 half-day fee unless they are receiving a full grooming service on the day of pick up.
6. Non- Holiday Cancellations can be made up to 2 days prior to the start of your reservation without penalty. If you cancel/make changes after this period your credit card will be charged a $28.00 (per run booked) cancellation fee. The Owner shall remain liable for all charges incurred for the care and maintenance of the pet listed on this contract.
7. HOLIDAYS: Holiday Cancellations can be made up to 10 days prior to the start of your reservation. If you cancel after this period for a holiday reservation you will be charged the 3 night minimum (per run booked). Paw Pleasers holidays are New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We require a three(3) night minimum stay for these holidays. We will be glad to accept your pet for less than three(3) nights but the charges for three(3) nights will be charged. We do not accommodate check in/out on actual holidays.
8. Owner agrees that Owner or a pre-approved Owner's agent will pick up pets during the posted operating hours on the stated day of pick-up. If you arrive outside of the posted operating hours for either check-in/out you will be subject to an out-of-hours fee in addition to that nights stay. The atomic clocks at Paw Pleasers Pet Resort reception will be used to determine check in/out times.
9. Should Owner or pre-approved Owner's agent fail to contact the Facility within 48 hours of the prearranged pick up, the pet will be considered abandoned. Any expenses incurred for the transport, overnight care, and/or placement or adoption of said pet shall be paid by the Owner in addition to other fees incurred for services provided by, at or through the Facility.
10. Owner agrees that their pet may be videotaped and/or photographed and further agrees that their pet may be used in any and all media and in the promotion, advertising, sale, publicizing of the Facility.
11. I understand that I will be financially responsible for any damaged caused by my pet while staying at Paw Pleasers facilities. This includes but not limited to our raised beds, astro turf, fencing, and enclosures.
