All seniors must take English Math, even if you have finished your required math credits for graduation. If you have not taken Health & PE or Humanities, it is required for graduation and you must take it as a senior. If you are currently failing or have previously failed a required graduation credit, you can sign up to retake it (please have a plan for graduation designed with your counselor). Please work with your teachers to make the appropriate choice in each area. On the 3rd page of the card, you will find Dunbar’s CTE/Pathway courses as well as the technical center choices. If you have taken one or two courses in a pathway, please consider taking another course in the pathway in order to complete your pathway. Discuss the advantages of completing pathways with your teachers. Additional elective classes are on the 4th page. You must choose enough electives to total 8 classes. Seniors are allowed to have 2 non-credit classes, but only one study hall. If you take an off-campus program, you are not allowed to take any non-credit classes. If you sign up for Co-op, you must choose 3 additional classes. If you sign up for Community Service or EBCE, you must choose 4 additional classes.

Most AP courses and all advanced English courses require summer assignments. Please check the PLD website for the assignment associated with your course. Signing up for an AP course requires parent signature and indicates your understanding of the rigor and requirements of the course. Signing up for an AP course is a full year commitment and schedule changes will not be allowed.

By signing below, we indicate that we have reviewed this schedule card and options available. We agree on the choices made and recommendations from teachers. We also understand the above statements regarding AP courses and we are agreeing to the year commitment.
