-Access list determining up to 5 hosts/networks which are allowed to access management system SNMP/HTTP/TELNET.

-DHCP MAC Filtering over the bridge interface limits traffic over the bridge to DHCP assigned IP addresses.

-User has the option to disable DNS Relay, FTP, TFTP, and SNMP at startup of the unit. This prevents these services from opening ports on the unit.

-IDS Intrusion Log reported to Syslog Daemon when enabled.

SNTP:

-Unicast, broadcast, and anycast synchronization modes.

-One defined server.

-No real time clock.

-Uses GMT time for syslog entries.

Image Validation:

Firmware updates check the uploaded image against the key so that the user does not accidentally update the unit with an image for the wrong product. This feature may be disabled in order to revert to software releases 2.2.x or earlier.

Keying System:

For upgrades, customers will need to supply the MAC address of the units and a key specifically for that unit will be supplied. The Key will define some features accessible to the customer (ie.. Security, enabled Services, etc…).

Default Configuration:

The default IP address for the unit’s Ethernet port is 192.168.200.10. No WAN connection is configured on default. T1/E1 configuration is as follows.

-RIK:Fractional E1, 120Ohm, HDB3, 1984K, Network Clock

-RIT:T1 ESF, 100Ohm, B8ZS, 1536K, Network Clock, ANSI T1 403
