PAT Dog of the Year Competition 2018

Once again we are running the competition to find our PAT Dog of the Year 2018

The readers of Yours magazine will be voting for that very special PAT Dog.

This year’s competition is again being sponsored by HiLife Pet foods, in conjunction with Yours magazine, with all prizes donated by HiLife. We are looking forward to receiving nominations.

The six finalists of HiLife PAT dog of the Year will be invited to take part in a presentation display at Crufts 2018 in March, when the winner will be announced. HiLife have generously offered the winner £500 plus a beautiful crystal trophy, special rosette and certificate. Runners-up will also receive prizes of £100 cash, a crystal trophy, rosette and certificate. Tony Parkinson, Managing Director of HiLife says “HiLife are delighted to be involved in this year’s PAT Dog of the Year competition and to continue giving our support to the invaluable work of Pets As Therapy”.

The final six PAT dogs in this years competition will be featured in Yours magazine, where voting for the winner will take place. The winner will be announced at Crufts 2018. Times TBC.

Forms must be returned to us by the 23rd August 2017 (nominations received after that date will not be included). Please make sure that permission from the subjects in any photograph’s is given by signing the entry form declaration below as these will may used for publicity.

You must be willing to obtain the full uniform (polo shirt and dog coat & lead) for yourself and your dog if you are in the final.

Important

Crufts is a wonderful experience; however, it is a tiring, noisy and hot environment with many people, children and other dogs that will be in contact with your dog. Please do consider carefully your dog’s age, health and ability to cope with these conditions as this is not a suitable environment for all dogs.

Also please consider your own health and ability to stand for long periods.

PAT volunteer details

NB: Please be aware that by entering this competition you may be involved in a rehearsal at the NEC on the evening before the show and then the live show. It will involve a good amount of walking and standing and can be very tiring so do give it some thought to your health, fitness, travelling and commitment.
