Mark L. Spencer
Pastor Mark L. Spencer was born in Birmingham, Alabama he is married to Brenda M. Spencer and they have been blessed with three beautiful children.
Pastor Spencer is a graduate of Minor High School, Herzing College, The Bible Institute at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church, The Preacher Institute at Saint Andrews Baptist Church, and the Angelos Bible Institute at New Beginnings Family Baptist Church which served as a Beeson School of Divinity extension site.
Pastor Spencer received his call into the ministry in 2001 and was licensed in that same year. Pastor was ordained in 2008 and was called to pastor his first church in the same year. He truly believes that the Word of God is the answer to any situation in life and that he should preach the Word of God with enthusiasm, zeal and passion as an example of Christ’s commitment to us He believes the bible in Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”
Pastor Spencer has been a committed church worker for many years and has served in many leadership positions in the church since his teen years. His service includes: Assistant Pastor, Associate Minister, and Minister of Administration, Sunday School Superintendant, Sunday school teacher, Youth Advisor, Youth Minister, New Members Director, New Members Teacher, Minister of Christian Education, Conference speaker, Conference Coordinator, Men’s ministry advisory board member, Evangelism leader, Evangelism trainer, musician, and media specialist.
Pastor Spencer has served under the following Pastors: Pastor Michael D. Moore (Faith Chapel Christian Center), Pastor Samuel P. Pettagrue (Sardis Missionary Baptist Church), and Pastor Angulus D. Wilson (New Beginnings Family Baptist Church). Pastor Spencer presently serves as the Senior Pastor of The New Beginnings Family Baptist Church.
