Sara and Stan have been meeting with all the YYA and Family providers to 1. Build relationship, 2. Check in, and 3. Update the Housing Inventories. Once we have complete all these one on one meetings we will work with Bitfocus to update the CEA Eligibility Engine.
Sara met with the Family Shelter providers last week to update them on the change to prioritization for shelter referrals. Bitfocus has updated the Eligibility Engine and referrals based on the new eligibility will begin in the new year.
The VOLT was able to pull the BNL through HMIS this week!
Committee reviewed the number of assessments completed for YYA, Families, and Single Adults in the CEA Community Queue. Recommendation made to add language to hand out to reflect that not all household assessed are unsheltered. / Hedda
2:50 pm / CEA Operations Manual V3
The CEA Operations Manual V3 was reviewed by the Committee. Specifically, the Flag Review, Reasonable Accommodation, and Housing Referral policies in addition to other updates to language to reflect changes to CEA.
Recommendation to change the flag review policy language to clarify that the process is intended to reflect an inaccurate score not to change the prioritization process for CEA. Suggestion to change process / policy so that when a household is flagged. Clarity is updated to 1. Ask what question a HH did not accurately answer and 2. Have the Housing Assessor explain why the question was not accurately answered. If those fields are not completed the case is not reviewed.
Pending these changes the CEA Operations Manual V3 was approved.
CEA Diversion and Assessment Manuals
The Committee also reviewed the CEA Diversion and Assessor Manuals.
The Committee was update on the one time flexible funds at RAPs that will be used to exit households from the homeless system, some of which will be used as diversion funding. The CEA Team is in the process of completing the manual for the use of those funds. The Diversion manual is part of that work. / Hedda
