Participate in Weekly Observations at the

Tucson Botanical Garden

When you come to the garden for your docent volunteer hours, we would love to have you help us collect some baseline data for answering some scientific questions. You can help us collect this data by registering for a Nature’s Notebook observation account.

Follow these three easy steps to join us:

  1. Register for a Nature’s Notebook account here:
  2. Fill in your account details and at the bottom find the PARTNER GROUPS drop down box
  3. Scroll to find the Botanic Gardens and Arboretums Group and click it
  4. Scroll to find the Tucson Botanical Garden Group and click it
  5. Click ADD
  6. Click SAVE at the bottom of the page
  7. This will add all of the selected species from the Tucson Botanical Garden to your Observation Deck
  8. Return to your Observation Deck by clicking the link at the top of the page in the upper right hand corner
  9. Find the Tucson Botanical Garden in your list of Sites on the left-hand side of the observation deck.

Click it.

  • This will populate the list of species for you to explore in the garden.
