DHF Educational Program Rules:
1. Registration form and $250 deposit must be RECEIVED by DHF to hold your spot.
a. Final payment and horse health paperwork is due no less than 14 days before event.
b. Checks payable to DHF.
c. If you can’t ride for any reason, event organizer will attempt to fill your spot off the waiting list. If there is no waiting list, it is your job to find your own replacement.
d. If no replacement rider is found, registration fees will not be refunded
2. All health papers (negative Coggins certificate within 1 year and vet health certificate if trailering in from out-of-state) must be received with final payment before your horse will be admitted onto the DHF property
3. If on-site stabling is required, submit payment with registration fees
a. After 3 pm prior afternoon arrival allowed at no additional charge. Arrival before 3 pm will incur an addition day fee.
b. DHF staff will feed participant-provided pre-measured hay/grain meals at barn feeding times and night check. Make sure to review feeding info with a DHF staff member upon your arrival and write the details on your stall card.
c. You are required to clean your stall and any dry lot you use daily.
Turnout Information:
1. An ASTM safety helmet must be worn at all times while mounted
2. No black or dark colored breeches because it makes it difficult for our clinicians to evaluate leg position
3. Always wear a form-sitting vest, shirt or jacket so that the clinician can evaluate your upper body position
4. Braiding is not necessary, but clean and tidy horse and rider appearance is mandatory
5. Review and abide by the DHF visitor-rider Code of Conduct
6. Leave pets at home – no dogs allowed on DHF property

Release: In consideration for my admission to any Dancing Horse Farm Event, I agree to participate in this event at my own risk. I understand that equestrian sports are inherently dangerous, and I am willing to assume any risk involved to me, my family, guests, my horse(s), my vehicles and additional property. I further agree to hold harmless the event management, their volunteers, officials, property owners, and sanctioning bodies and anyone else involved in this event for any damage, loss, or injury suffered during this event or while on the event grounds. I have read and fully understand this release and consent to these conditions to enter this event. This agreement is made in the state of Ohio and shall be enforced and interpreted by the laws of the state of Ohio.
