Part Time Studio Cleaner (4hrs per day)

Salary: 20k per annum (pro rata)

Job Specification –

Spectrecom Films is a busy studio and production company based in London. Based in Kennington, Our three-studio complex hosts film and television production companies for production of award-winning films, TV commercials, corporate, charity and branded content for some of the world’s leading brands and biggest digital agencies.

This role will require working early and late shifts – flexibility will be expected.

ESSENTIAL TASKS

  • Clean and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, kitchen, halls, rooms and restroom cleaning etc)
  • Assist cleaning studios, emptying bins and general clearance (hoovering and mopping studio floors)
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms – ordering other supplies as needed
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff
  • Follow all health and safety regulations requirements
  • Proven working experience as a cleaner, including best practices
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Good level of English
  • Follow and promote company CSR policy
  • Successful applications are subject to a DBS Criminal Background Check

DAILY TASKS

  • Empty all waste bins
  • Empty bins at relevant recycling points
  • Dust furniture, ledges, cabinets, skirting, pipework radiators, fixtures & fittings to a height of 2 metres, remove spillage stains from desks.
  • Vacuum carpet and floors
  • Broom sweep and wash hard floors
  • Dust bannister and balustrades
  • Toilets; Wash and disinfect floors, scour and polish toilet bowls and basins
  • Sanitise and polish toilet seats, cisterns and exterior of toilet bowls.
  • Polish taps, mirrors and brightwork.
  • Replenish toilet facilities using client’s materials
  • Kitchens: Wipe down and disinfect units in the kitchen area, clear cups etc
  • Sweep and wash kitchen floor
  • Remove refuse to disposal point
  • Secure premises and set alarm system

WEEKLY

  • Wax polish wooden furniture, clean synthetic or painted surfaces, ledges cabinets, skirting’s etc. with correct cleaning agents.
  • Wipe clean and disinfect telephones
  • Remove marks and spillages from doors, light switches, cupboards glass panels etc.
  • Sponge down shower stations using sanitiser and polish metal fittings
  • Wipe clean fridge interior and exterior
  • Wipe clean microwave interior and exterior

MONTHLY

  • Vaccum upholstered furniture
  • De-Grease and de-scale shower room
