- With reference to the Activity, discuss with students what recreation is and different types of recreational activities.
- Ask students to do Activity 22.2.
- Based upon the Activity, discuss with students the advantages of having recreational activities.
- Assign students to do Activity 22.3.
- Based upon the Activity, ‘more to learn’ on p. 132 and 135, together with Figs. 22.3-22.12, guide students to learn different types of recreational activities that are available in Hong Kong.

- pick information from tables, bar graphs, fact sheets, cartoons, photographs, maps, travelling agents’ advertisements and pamphlets;
- obtain the latest information from relevant web sites.
- Assign students to complete Activity 24.1.
- With reference to the Activity, discuss with students the most popular tourist destinations for Hong Kong people.
- Assign students to do Activity 24.2.
- Based upon the Activity together with Figs. 24.5-24.9, guide students to learn the factors affecting our choice of travelling destinations.

- state the benefit and harm brought by tourism to Thailand;
- tell the views of different people towards tourism in Thailand;
- make a trip to a travelling destination ‘green’ and environmentally friendly;
- pick information from maps, photographs, cartoons and fact sheets;
- obtain the latest information from relevant web sites.
- Assign students to complete Activity 25.1.
- With reference to the Activity together with Figs. 25.1-25.2, discuss with students the attraction of Thailand to Hong Kong travellers.
- Then ask students to do Activity 25.2.
- Based upon the Activity together with Figs. 25.6-25.7, guide students to learn the benefits brought by tourism to Thailand and the views of those people who support tourism.
- Similarly, based upon the Activity together with Figs. 25.8-25.12, discuss with students the harms brought by tourism to Thailand and the views of those who do not support tourism.
- Finally, assign students to do Activity 25.3.
- Based upon the Activity, guide students to learn the meaning of ‘Green’ trip so as to reduce the harmful impact of tourism on Thailand or on other travelling destinations.
