PARKING INFORMATION
April 10th – 14th
Parking decks:
- During the Festival all City and County parking decks will be $10/day to park; cash only
One should anticipate possible delays upon entry and exit during high-volume times - Market Street Parking Deck – N 2nd Street
- 2nd Street Parking Deck (between Chestnut Street & Princess Street) – 100 N 2nd St
- Library Parking Deck (between Chestnut Street & Grace Street)
- Cape Fear Community College Parking Decks will also be available
- Nutt Street Deck
- Hanover/3rd Street Deck (limited public parking available at this lot – this will be the first lot to fill during the Concerts)
PLEASE NOTE: access to these parking decks will be unavailable on Saturday, April 13th from 7:30am-2pm, during the time of the parade.
Meters:
- $1/hr
- Parking meters are free after 6:30pm daily, and all day Saturday and Sunday during Azalea Festival weekend.
Access to Concerts:
- Concert dates/times:
- Thursday, April 11th at 7pm – Lynyrd Skynyrd
- Friday, April 12th at 7pm – The Avett Brothers
- Saturday, April 13th at 7pm – Colt Ford & The LACS
- Sunday, April 14th from 12pm-6pm – Free Beach music
- Parking Decks available to public:
- 2nd Street, Market Street, and Library County Parking Decks; as well as CFCC’s Nutt Street Deck
- Road Closures:
- Will begin at 5pm for the following streets:
- Brunswick/Hanover between Front Street and 2nd street

- Market StreetSecond StreetEnter into 2nd Street, Market Street, or Library City parking decks, or proceed to Nutt Street for Cape Fear Community College’s Nutt Street parking deck
- Suggested route for Sponsors/ADA/VIP parking ingress traffic:
- Southbound from MLK Pkwy Third St Right on to Hanover Street Left into CFCC parking deck

Access to Street Fair:
- Street Fair dates/times:
- Friday, April 12th at 6pm – 10pm
- Saturday, April 13th from 10am-10pm with Fireworks at 9pm
- Sunday, April 14th from 10am-6pm
- Preferred parking: 2nd Street Parking Decks and Metered Spaces
- Suggested route: Market Street Right into Market Street parking deck
Access to Parade:
- The decks with entry on 2nd Street will be open until 7:30am Saturday, April 13th, day of the Festival Parade. Access to 2nd Street for these decks will be via Chestnut Street from 5th Avenue. Or for those arriving via MLK, traffic will be directed off of 3rd Street via Davis Street, to 4th Street, and then to Chestnut St.

PARADE SHUTTLE INFORMATION:
- WAVE Transit is providing a Parade Shuttle on Saturday, April 13th from 7am – 2pm
- Pick-up location is at Independence Mall, in the parking lot behind Firehouse Subs, by the Wells Fargo/Sears
- Drop-off location is at Dock Street and Front Street
- Shuttles will run approximately every 15 minutes
- Fare is $2/each way
- Children under 5 yrs old ride free with a paying adult
- Reduced rate of $1 for students (K -12th grade) & local college students with valid identification. UNCW students and staff ride free of charge with valid identification.
- Reduced rate of $1 for disabled patrons and patrons ages 65 years or older with valid identification.
Access to Patron’s Party:
- The Patrons’ Party Gala will be held Saturday, April 13thfrom 7pm-12am at the Convention Center
- Parking will be available in the Convention Center parking deck starting at 6pm and will be free to all Patrons with a Patron’s Party Ticket
- Suggested route for ingress traffic:
- Market Street Right on Third Street Left on Redcross StreetRight on Nutt Street Left into Convention Center Parking Deck
Tour Bus Parking:
- Tour buses can park at 4th/Davis Street or at the Marina Lot located under the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge.
- Buses can unload people at the corner of 4th/Grace Street; then go back to 4th/Davis or the Marina Lot to park the bus
