Subject: Invitation of Applications for Shahbaz Sharif Merit Scholarship - Master Level for the year 2017-18
I am pleased to inform you that Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) has announced Shahbaz Sharif Merit Scholarship Master level Scholarships for the year 2017-18. For the purpose “Applications From” from the deserving students is invited.
Eligibility Criteria and How to Apply:
All the students of Fall 2017 Session enrolled in MS Program can apply but, It will be noted that the student who are enrolled in MS studies and passes their previous degree from 2015-17 are eligible but if they completed Master (16 years of studies/M.Sc/M.Cs etc) are not eligible as they already passed Masters Degree. The students from Development Studies, Computer Science, English (Humanities) and Management Science Department are considered in *Arts Group* and the students from rest of the Departments are considered for *Science Group.
How to Get Application Form?
Students may obtain Application Form, Affidavit from the student portal, CIIT web site and PEEF Web site. PEEF Web Site is: www.peef.org/ssms. Application Form and Affidavit will be also available in Student Affairs Section.
How to Apply?
Please submit duly filled-in Application Form along with the supporting documents in Student Affairs Section at CIIT Islamabad Campus for verification and onward submission.
Last Date to Apply?
Duly completed Application Forms shall be submitted not later than 20th November, 2017
Note:_ In order to make the selection process more transparent Provision of following documents shall be mandatory for nominated candidates.
1. Be a Pakistani national.
2. Domicile Certificate.
3. Have secured at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA 2.5 in BA/ B.Sc. / B.COM/ BS/ BBA etc.
4. Examination held in 2015/2016 or 2017 (annual).
5. Death Certificate in case parents/Guardian is deceased.
6. Form “B” stating Number of Family members.
7. Income Certificate and Pension book/copy (where applicable) In case of business, Affidavit Stating income details.
8. If living in rented house, Rent agreement shall be attached.
9. Siblings paid Fee slips if studying.
10. Details of Academic Record, copies of degrees/ transcripts.
11. CNIC of Applicant and Guardian/Parents.
12. Have secured admission as a fulltime student in the current academic year (2017-18) in one of the partner University / Degree Awarding Institution.
13. Be enrolled in Spring/Fall session (where applicable) and Morning / Afternoon / Evening sessions (where applicable) are also eligible to apply for PEEF – SSMS Master’s level scholarships.
14. Declared monthly income of parents (from all sources) is equal to or less than Rs. 75,000/-
15. Maximum Age of 28 Years As on 31st August 2017
16. Not a beneficiary of Prime Minister Fee Reimbursement Scheme 2017-18.
17. Not availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year.
Not Eligible
a. Students who have already passed / got MA / MSc / MS / MPhil etc. degree.
b. Marks improvers or students who have passed examination in supplementary session.
c. Students who have passed the aforementioned examination with grace marks (*).
