PARK HIGH OPEN DISCLOSURE—ANNUAL PRODUCTIONS

The primary goal of this class is to produce a yearbook in which we have all made a significant contribution. In order for this to occur, we have to work individually and as a group with a great deal of motivation and cooperation. The key to our success is RESPONSIBILITY, and your desire to achieve these goals. Your responsibility to this commitment will affect your grade and will reflect your academic standings in this class. Your success will be achieved in the following ways:

  1. Once the yearbook has been planned, every student must volunteer or be assigned pages for themselves to complete. Every student will be involved with a “mug section” of the book.
  1. You may choose to work in groups or together on individual pages. In any case, you will have specific pages for which it will be your responsibility to get pictures, write copy, and design layout.
  1. Page deadlines will be posted in plenty of advanced notice. Pages submitted need to be edited by the instructor, and corrections made as well. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND FINAL COPY! You should not get upset if you are asked to do something over. Yearbooks are important archives and historical documents as well as precious keepsakes.
  1. Annual productions is a little different from many of your other classes in that it necessitates leaving our classroom to take pictures, conduct interviews, sell ads, etc. You must be continuously vigilant as ambassadors of Park High and this class to conduct yourselves with the utmost politeness, responsibility, and maturity in and OUT of the classroom
