Please mark any of the volunteer opportunities you would be willing to support.

Classroom Volunteers

❏  Read with students

Volunteers would work in classrooms to read with students and/or listen to students read. This would be coordinated with classroom teachers.

❏  Prep materials at home

Support teachers in preparing materials for student activities. Teachers would send

home items that may need to be cut, colored, organized, etc. Volunteers would

complete the task at home and return it to the teacher.

School Volunteers

❏  Copy Center

This volunteer opportunity would be in the staff work room. Teachers/Staff would fill out a slip/order for copies and volunteers would make copies so teachers can focus their time on preparing activities, looking at student data, etc.

❏  School wide mail

Support office staff in counting out class sets of fliers/notes that need to go home in student backpacks.

❏  LMC Volunteer

Work with Ms. Ochoa-Podell in the library returning books to the shelves, pulling books for teachers, supporting students finding and checking out books.

❏  Bookroom Volunteer

Work with Mrs. Kane to re-shelve books so teachers are able to focus their time on planning, working with students, and looking at student data.

❏  Support Building Wide Events (PTO)

This volunteer opportunity would be on an as needs basis. Volunteers would assist the school and the PTO with school events like school picnic, fun fair, chili cook-off, book fair, spring sing, field day, read a thon, PBS assemblies/celebrations, and other events that come up during the school year.
