Saint Research Project

Objective: Students will be able to create a Google site or Blog on a Saint of their choice. Students will give a presentation on their Saint.

Paragraph One:About Your saint (Write 5 or more sentences)

·  The name of your saint

·  When your saint was born

·  When your saint died

·  Where your saint lived

·  When your saint's feast day is in the Church year

·  Representations or symbols of your saint

·  What your saint is the patron of

Paragraph Two: Your saint’s Life(Write 10 or more sentences)

·  Describe the life story of your saint

·  Make sure that all events are in the order of their life

·  If you like, you may write this information in more than one paragraph

Paragraph Three: Reflect on your Saint (Write 5 or more sentences)

·  What do you admire about your saint?

·  What do you find interesting about your saint?

We will do some of this in class, and you will need to spend some time doing this at home.There are many great resources available on the internet.When you research the internet, be careful of what you find, as not all web sites will give accurate information.Below, you will find a list of helpful links that will help you complete your project.The best links are found at the top.

You will need to post your final copy onto your Google site or Blog along with pictures. You are free to be creative, but do not make it distracting. We will work in class on how to create the Google site and Blog.

Tuesday Nov. 13th- About your Saint

Monday Nov.19th- Your Saint’s Life

Monday Nov. 26th- Reflect on your Saint

Friday Nov. 30th- Google Site or Blog
