Mr.R.Ravi Hon. Secretary of PAMA elected as Governing Council Member of Indian Chamber of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Coimbatore for the Term 2016-2018 under Association Category. Mr. C. Balasubramanian FPTA President Elected as Governing Council Member of Indian Chamber of commerce and Industry Coimbatore for the term 2016-2018 under ‘TRADE’ Category.

2. Reviewed the Donations collected from our members upto this date and advised from remaining members also to be collected before 11th of this month.
3. Reviewed food certificate to be obtained from the food safety officer.
4. Reviewed the display of Donor banners for entire members and separate banner for major Donor day wise to be arranged everyday of 12 consecutive days on their individual name to perform puja and accommodate to felicitate on that particular day.
5. Discussed to arrange model Goddess Kanaka Durga on Dais furnished in function hall to perform puja daily by Donors and resolved to felicitate to major Donors and offer pasupu, kunkuma (Turmeric, Vermlion) Pattucheera (Silk Saree) to the spouse of member and also decided equip with puja materials and appoint purohit (adororer) for chanting.
6. To arrange table meals in kothagullu, 1 Town for piligrims and cater plate meals in central R.T.C. Bus Station, around 4000 members daily 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
7. To arrange mementos to the donors.
2 / 31-8-2016 / Emergency MC Meeting / 1. KRISHNA PUSHKARALU :
1. Krishna Pushkaralu committee was formed with Mr. D.V. Krishna Rao as President and Mr. M.L.V. Krishna Rao as Vice-President.
2. The Committee had collected an amount of Rs. 13,07,106 /- by way of Donations from our PMWA members and displayed banners of donor members in function hall.
3. The Association had arranged table meals in kottagullu 1 town and plate meals in A.P.S.R.T.C. P.N.B.S. (Central) Bus Station for daily 3500 members with neat and delicious food. Daily 12 consecutive days from 12th to 23rd August from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
4. On appointed purohit (Adorer) daily puja was performed by major donors individually in 12 days where Kanaka Durga Idol was installed in function hall. The major donors were felicitated and presented mementos and their spouses were offered pasupu, kumkuma, pattucheera according to our Tradition.
5. Of this Charitable event Organized by our Association was published in print media (Press) and broadcast through electronic media about catering of meals to the pilgrims.
6. The team of 24 members with President Mr. Madhusudan Bang and Secretary Mr. V.V.D. Ramesh was invited by CM of A.P. and presented memento and appreciation Certificate to the Association and also presented individual appreciation certificate to the team of 24 members in the function organised by the Government of Andhrapradesh in Indira Gandhi Stadium on 24-8-2016 and C.M of A.P. particularly appreciated our Association among other Charitable Associations for the event successfully fulfilled.
2. ELECTION PROCESS DISCUSSED AND ITS CRITERIA RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS :
1. Eligibility to contest as a managing committee member or office bearer the mode of procedure should be followed.
2. a) For managing committee 3 years membership to be completed upto the date of AGM. Change of title is eligible.
b) For office bearer : One time M.C. Member
c) For President : One time Office bearer

REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE’ 16
8th Managing Committee Meeting- 20th June 2016
- The Hotel Radisson Blu was finalized. We had sent the request letter to the CHIEF GUEST &
GUEST OF HONOUR toattend the 3rd FPTA M.C. Meeting for which they sent their consent.
We had discussed about the no. of members attending the meeting & arrangement to be
made for their pick up, some of the FPTA members requested our Association to conduct a
small meeting on GST, whichwas arranged by our Association for the forthcoming
3rd FPTA M.C. Meeting.
- We discussed about the distribution of Education & Medical Welfare Fund, for which
10 members staff children will be benefited by receiving an amount of Rs. 2,500/- per
Childtowards scholarship.
3rd MC meeting of FPTA – 25th and 26th June 2016
MPMA was given an opportunity to host the 3rd MC Meeting of FPTA at Chennai. Our members got together and worked together in making this event a grand success. No stone was left unturned to make the stay of our guest comfortable. All the guest appreciated the arrangements, the morning visit to the world famous Marina Beach and finally the speech of Mr. K. Vaitheeswaran Advocate and Tax Consultant who made a detailed presentation on GST and answered the questions of the Honorable MC members of FPTA.
Ramadan Iftar Party – 30th June 2016
During the month of Ramadan, MPMA members hosts an Iftar (breaking of fast) party every year. This year, Moulavi Hafiz M. Mohammed Kasim, delivered a speech on the relevance of Ramadan and fasting on during this religious month. We had our local M.L.A, representing the area in which most of the Paper Traders are located, as a guest of honor. He appreciated the brotherhood of the members of MPMA and how traders from various religion participate in all the functions irrespective of their religion. Iftar food was then served to all.
Education fund Distribution:
MPMA had created a corpus called “MPMA Education Fund”. Out of the interest that accures from this fund, deserving children of MPMA member’s employees are given financial support. This year too 10 children were awarded this assistance from this fund. Education Scholarship given to children’s from chief guest on the occasion of Ramadan Iftar.
REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF JULY’16
Meeting on the new VAT portal- 8th July 2016
The Commercial Taxes department of Tamil Nadu had launched a new portal and made it compulsory that all returns are to be filed electronically only through this portal. To apprise and clear the doubts of our members, MPMA had organized for a demonstration on how this portal would work. Officials including the Assistant Commissioner Commercial taxes participated and made a detailed audio visual presentation on how the new portal functions. All the doubts of members were clarified.
9th Managing Committee Meeting-21st July2016
- The members reviewed about the FPTA 3rd M.C.Meeting held at Chennai. All the members were informed about the discussions held at the meeting. All our FPTA members thanked MPMA for hoisting the FPTA 3rd M.C. Meeting. All the expenses incurred at the meeting were informed to our members.
- Members were also informed about the forth coming FPTA 55th AGM/Conference at Mumbai for which the delegates & observers were finalised.
- We have selected the nominee of Vice President and other M.C. Members of FPTA
for the year 2016- 2017,
- Our Members suggested that we should apply at the FPTA 55th AGM/Conference Mumbai an request letter to conduct the next FPTA AGM/Conference at Chennai.FPTA President nominee for next AGM of FPTA at Chennai to be Mr.A. Annamalai (Venkat). Committee approved and applauded.

Independence Day – 15th August 2016
Our former President Mr. M. Nagoor Meeran hoisted the National Flag on the terrace of our Association building. Many members participated in the flag hoisting ceremony and greeted each other.
10th Managing Committee Meeting- 26th August 2016
- To fix venue & date of our 64th AGM, for which the venue was fixed at E Hotel, Express Avenue Mall, Pattullos Road, Chennai on 28th September 2016
- Regarding the Accounts to be finalized, Profit & Loss A/c and Balance Sheet for the year
2015-16, were discussed and approved by committee.
- Regarding the Recipient of “Jai Kishan Gupta Award” which is given for best service Rendered to the Paper Trade & Association it was decided to be given two senior members.

We contributed as Sum of Rs. 1.1 Lakhs towards School Uniform for 270 Students of Labourer’s Followship Upgraded Primary School, Sheshadripuram, Bangalore. The Programme was attended by Office Bearers and Managing Committee Members. A Breakfast was also organized as part of the event.

28/07/2016 Fourth Executive Council Meeting was held at our Association Office, wherein the following discussions were held.
Finalize the names of Delegates going to attend the 55th AGM of FPTA in Mumbai from23rd Sept to 25th Sep 2016.
Code of Conduct on Paper Trade was discussed and a brief model of dos and don’t were chalked out.
Discussions on market condition were held.
Circular on extension of due date for Qtr Ending 30.06.2016 (Form 14/14D & Form 15) were sent to all members.
President Sri. Arun Sundariya along with Secretary Sri. Sandeep Dhanuka and 2 members attended an Interactive Session with Shri. Ghanshyam Singh Gen. Manager Eastern Railway on Eastern Railway - Prospects and Challenges on Thursday 08/09/2016 in the Conference Hall of the Chamber.
