PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE SIGNS BROADCAST PRODUCTION DEAL WITH SUNSET+VINE

Lahore –October 31, 2015:Pakistan Super League (PSL) has signed a broadcast production deal with UK-based TV sports production and media companySunset+Vine to cover the league.With this landmark deal in place, the PSL will reserve all production rights - a first in Pakistan cricket's history - for the tournament, thereby ensuring top quality coverage of the league as per international standards.

Sunset+Vine,part of the Tinopolis Group of Companies,is one of the leading and most formidable names in sports production worldwide having wonover 40major broadcast awards, including five BAFTAs for its cricket coverage.

With cutting edge technology making its way into cricket Sunset+Vine has been a leader, introducing innovations such as the Red Zone, Snickometer, the Analyst, Hawk-Eye and the Ultra-slo-mo camera to the coverage of the game. The company has also partnered with the Marylebone Cricket Club to run the Lord’s Cricket Ground channel. Most recently, Sunset+Vine covered the ICC World T20 Qualifiersin Scotland and Ireland,which was beamed live across the world.The PSL coverage will be Executive Produced by Huw Bevan who runs Sunset+VineAsia’s business.

The PSL will take place fromFebruary 4-24, 2016, in Dubai and Sharjah, with five teams set to take part in the first edition of the league. With production rights awarded, the next step in the PSL journey will be awarding of broadcast rights. This will be followed by the awarding of sponsorship rights after which franchise ownership rights will be awarded. The player draft is set to take place in December with over 150 foreign players having already signed up to take part in the draft.
