When opening fddc.org in your internet browser, you may press the “Tab” key repeatedly to navigate to different website links on the page. Click “Enter” to open the highlighted link directly.

Windows 7 Instructions:

·  Access Screen Magnifier Tools

o  3 modes

1.  Full-screen à magnifies entire screen

2.  Lens à wherever you point the mouse is magnified

3.  Docked à only a portion of the screen is magnified

o  Steps:

1.  Click “Start”

2.  Click “All Programs”

3.  Click “Accessories”

4.  Click “Ease of Access”

5.  Click “Magnifier

6.  On the Views menu, click the mode you want to use

5.  Move slider under “magnifier” to turn it on

Automatically opens in full-screen— can change mode in settings*

o  To close magnifier:

1.  Press windows logo and Esc key at same time or Click the magnifying glass icon and then close

Mac OSX Instructions:

1.  Picture-in-picture à mouse cursor controls what’s magnified

1.  Click Apple icon in top left corner

2.  Click “System Preferences”

3.  Click “Accessibility”

4.  Click “Zoom”

·  Either click “Enable zoom using keyboard shortcuts”

·  OR click “Enable zoom using scroll gestures”

·  Access Speech Recognition

o  Steps:

1.  Click Apple icon in top left corner

2.  Click “System Preferences”

3.  Click “Keyboard”

4.  Click “Dictation”

5.  Click “On”

o  Additional options:

1.  Choose Enhanced Dictation

·  Allows you to use dictation when not connected to the internet

2.  Choose Language

3.  Choose keyboard shortcut to access dictation

·  Access Personalization Tools (to adjust font size, colors, contrast, sounds, etc.)

o  Steps:

1.  Click Apple icon in top left corner

2.  Click “System Preferences”
