P7 Homework Term 3, Week 3

P7 Homework Term 3, Week 3

P7 Homework – Term 3, Week 3.

**To be handed back in, completed, on Friday 26thJanuary**

Maths

Last week and this week, we are looking at using the 4 processes with decimals, and with this comes place value practise. You have assigned activities on mathletics on both these topics, so sign in to complete them to gain more points!!

Spelling

I would like you to make up a wordsearch using your words that a partner will do on Friday morning in class. Remember that all letters in a wordsearch have to be in capital letters, and you need to have your words written underneath the wordsearch too.

You should also practise your spelling words using 2 other different activities of your choice – think about the Alberto spelling cards, and make sure that you are confident with your spelling words by Friday.

Reading

You all have a reading book now, so read your book at home, practising fluency and expression. To practise fluency, you need to be reading it aloud, so pick a section and read it to a parent etc. Also, make sure you bring it to school every day.

Other

Practise your 6 lines of the class Scots poem. You are a team, so everyone has to work together to make this a great Scots poem recital, everyone is relying on each other! Please make sure you bring your copy of the poem to school every day, because we will be practising in school, and in your groups.

*If there is anything you need help with, more clarification on or anything else, please come and ask me before Friday so we can do something about it.*
