Call to Order & Chapter Business:
The meeting was called to order byPresident,Kelly Epperson at 12:00 p.m.
Review and Approval of January Minutes and Treasurer’s Report
The minutes and report were presented for approval. Victoria Williamson made a motion to approve the January minutes as presented and Phyllis Spriggs seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Joshua Cotton made a motion to approve the January Treasure’s Reportas presented andRobin Lawhorn seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Chapter Business:
President, Kelly Epperson asked if there were any announcements. Jane Buffington said there was still room at the Choctaw Nation Fair (February 26, 2014); you did not have to be Choctaw to participate. She left information on the table for those interested.
The Oklahoma HR State Conference will be May 6-9 in Tulsa, OK at the Tulsa Convention Center. You can register and find more information at okhrconf.com. There is a discount for early registration and for those who are members of both national and local chapters. This is the last day for early bird registration. We need at least 10% of our membership to attend and volunteer at least 12 hours to get a part of the dividends. A room has been reserved that sleeps 6 so let Kelly know something as soon as possible. Kelly also reminded everyone aboutMAHRA dues; it is the beginning of a new year.
Kelly introduced guest speakerLisa Smith, Industrial Coordinator from Indian Capital Technology Center. Lisa educated the association on what ICTC could do for them and how classes could be set up to meet the company/organization’s needs.
Kelly thanked everyone for coming and reminded members of the March 14, 2014, meeting at Cowboys.

With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:00.
