Tim / Lawyers in the Courtroom: Attending Cambridge Crown Court and discussing expectations and reality
  • Attend Crown Court, watching proceedings and discuss role of judges, lawyers, counsel.
  • Reflection and debate on issues that arose including legal ethics and advocacy.

Saturday 5 August

Tim / Final day: Legal Careers Discussion; Reflection
  • There may be some scope to match the content of this day to interests of the group. We will discuss further in class.
  • Reflection on the two weeks. Key learnings. Favourite activities. Exercise in feedback, recommendations for future programs.
  • Question and answer session on legal careers, TM background and experience. Discuss elements of contract and importance of contract law in context.
