Viessmann is turning 100 this year and starting its second century with the motto “100+ into a new century”. “Starting a new century together” is therefore also the central theme at the ISH Energy 2017. It underscores once again the close cooperation between Viessmann and its trade partners.
Digitalization and the energy transition are the two greatest challenges ever to have faced the heating industry. But Viessmann has always seen challenges as opportunities and developed innovative solutions to deal with them. As the industry’s technology leader, the company is once again presenting a plethora of innovations at the world’s leading trade fair, which will enable all its trade partners to turn digitalization and the energy transition into success.
In the spotlight at Viessmann’s ISH stand this year is a wide range of digital services for specialist companies. With them, these companies can digitize their entire process, from initial information for potential customers through the offer and installation phase up to ongoing operations. The new digital services from Viessmann not only help specialist companies make sales, but also make their work much easier.
Aside from these services, there is also the market launch of a large number of new technologies for efficient heat and power generation in single-family homes and large residential buildings, as well as for industrial or commercial buildings, and municipal authorities.Viessmann’s comprehensive range of services is also adding new digital products for control and online monitoring of energy systems, as well as for enhancing room conditions.

heizung.de: new Internetplatform turns mere interest into additional business customers for specialist companies
Today, eighty percent of all heating system purchasers get their information online. Providingend customers and users with neutral yet competent information, and connecting them with the closest Viessmann trade partner is thus the declared goal of heizung.de. This new Web presence also offers information on everything related to heating, subsidies, and financing, and presents solutions to answer any questions on new heating systems.
Heating calculator: getting offers to the customer in five minutes
Eighty percent of all customers expect to get an offer quickly. This group of customers expects the provider to respond in as little time as possible after they click their mouse to inquire about an offer. So Viessmann is supporting its trade partners with its new heating calculator, which lets them make a targeted appeal to these customers by automatically preparing non-binding offers.
Online tools for easy ordering and system planning
Viessmann’s online tools let contractors bring helpful tools right into the office or to the construction site. Whether they are interested in the configuration of individual, technically tested packages, the choice of hydraulic and wiring plans with a schematic browser, a search for technical documents with ViBooks, or flow balancing with Vitaflow 100 – these online tools make the trade partner’s daily work much easier.
Vitoguide: software tool for service with added value
Three-fourths of all homeowners would like to have their system looked after. The Vitoguide digital service center for online monitoring enables every trade partner to keep the systems they are looking after in view. New functions, such as heating analysis with an operational report, the operating history log, and heating element management for heat pumps, now enable contractors to further expand their range of services.
What is more, an ongoing analysis of operating data makes it possible to get ideas for additional business.After all, around eighty percent of homeowners have no idea how to modernize their heating system. The operating data provide arguments for modernization and a basis for recommending a certain type of heating system.
New technologies for efficient power and heat supply
ViCare Smart Climate solutions: feel-good conditions for every room in the house
Roughly two-thirds of roomsin private homes are being heated unnecessarily or improperly. The new ViCare Smart Climate solutions are state-of-the-art products for single-room temperature control. Apart from enhancing the feel-good factor in every room of the house, they also noticeably lower energy costs. They can be combined with all Viessmann heating systems and their high-quality design goes well with every residential style.
Vitodens 200-W: new Lambda Pro Control Plus combustion control
By 2029, 4.3 million homeowners in Germany will have changed over gradually from gas group LL(very low calorific) to the more energy-rich gas group E (high calorific). The Lambda Pro Control Pluscombustion control automatically adjusts the Vitodens 200 series condensing boilers to any type of gas and any exhaust gas system. Thus, the units always provide 100 percent of the required output at the highest degree of efficiency.
Vitocrossal 300: especially service-friendly gas condensing unit for operating pressures up to 6 bar
Innovative boiler control with color touch display and start-up assistant, as well as perfect access to all service-relevant parts – the Vitocrossal 300 (CM3C) gas condensing boiler is setting new standards with regard to ease of operation and service. With an operating pressure of 6 bar and rated heat output of 87 to 311 kW, it is the ideal heat generator for large residential and commercial buildings.
Comprehensive energy solutions from a single source for electricity and heat
Ninety-five percent of people in Germany regularly complain that their electricity bills are too high. The innovative energy management system (EMS) optimizes self-consumption, self-sufficiency, and CO2 reduction. Electricity-generating heating systems, photovoltaic systems, highly efficient heat pumps, and systems for storing heat and electricity are all integrated. EMS is setting the example of integrated energy for electricity, heat, and electric vehicles.
Vitovalor 300-P: now even more compact yet with higher output
Vitovalor 300-P is the first mass-produced fuel cell heating unit for single- and two-family homes. The German government subsidizes its purchase to the tune of as much as €11,100, thereby making an investment in this high-efficiency technology even more attractive. With reduced height and an additional output model of the integrated gas condensing boiler for peak loads, it can now be put to many more different uses.
Vitoligno 300-S: log gasification boiler for commercial applications
With its Vitoligno-S series, Viessmann is offering modern log gasification boilers for backup purposes or even professional, mono-mode use. The new Vitoligno 300-S is designed for mono-mode heating operation, with outputs from 34.9 to 75 kW. Automatic ignition, long intervals before logs need to be added, and the menu-guided control with the option of Internet-based remote control make it easy to operate, as in large residential buildings, in agriculture, or processing businesses.
Vitocal 200-S, 222-S and 200-A: by far the quietest external units of their type
The new Vitocal 200-S, 222-S and 200-A air/water heat pumps with a split or monoblock design are by far the quietest units of this type. When running at night, the sound pressure level at a distance of three meters is a mere 35 dB(A). Thus, these units meet the requirements of the German Technical Instructions on Noise Protection (TA-Lärm) and cause no problems even in densely built-up areas, such as townhouse complexes, where it is nearly impossible to use conventional air/water heat pumps.
Vitovent 100-D: decentralized home ventilation unit for new and existing buildings
No matter whether in individual rooms, parts of a home (ventilation zones), or the entire residence: the new Vitovent 100-D home ventilation unit eliminates dampness, odors, and pollutants, andprovides for fresh air.
ThermProtect: automatic overheating protection for flat-plate and vacuum tube collectors
Viessmann already set a milestone in the efficiency and operating reliability of solar thermal systems with its unique ThermProtect temperature shut-off in the Vitosol 200-FM and 100-FM flat-plate collectors. Now the new Vitosol 300-TM and 200-TM vacuum tube collectors also have this automatic shut-off to reliably prevent the collectors from overheating.
Vitocell 300-V and 300-B: new stainless steel DHW cylinderswith an energy efficiency class Alabel
Viessmann is launching a new series of mono-mode and dual-mode stainless steel DHW cylinders on the market, theVitocell 300-V and Vitocell 300-B, for DHW generation and storage with a high level of efficiency and maximum hygiene. Thanks to their high-efficiency thermal insulation, they reach ErP energy efficiency class A, the highest a DHW cylinder can achieve. Stainless steel guarantees long-lasting, absolutely hygienic storage of heated drinking water.
