PONTOONS
Side pontoons constructed from 12mm plate. Engine/pump pontoon constructed from 8mm plate with 250mm x 250mm x 8mm internal box framework.
DREDGE PUMP
12-10 Warman sand and gravel pump. Output of dredge pump 200 tons plus per hour of sand and gravel.
ENGINE
Caterpillar 3406C 400hp at 1800 rpm. Engine fitted with keel cooling, twin disc industrial clutch unit and V belt drive to dredge pump.
WINCHES
2 x Kawasaki Staffa HMHDB 200 winches fitted with 100 metre capacity winch drums and band brakes. Line pull6 tons. Winches fitted withfull hydraulic variable control valves, servo operated from control cabin.
CUTTER HEAD
Vosta LMG cutter head driven by Staffa HMHDB 400 motor delivering 20,000 newton metres oftorque at 30 rpm.
CUTTER LADDER
Cutter ladder constructed in warren girder format using 300mm x 300mm x 8mm box and 160mm x 80mm x 8mm box. Length 22 metres x 2 metres x 1.4 metres. Dredge depth 15 metres. Cutter ladder raised and lowered by hydraulic winch.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Kawasaki variable and fixed displacement piston pumps driven by 160 kw motor. Full return filtration. 200 bar maximum working pressure. Biodegradable hydraulic oil.
SPUDS
2 x spuds 500mm diameter, 18mm wall, 20 metres long. Spuds operated by 2 metre travel free standing hydraulic rams.
CAB
Modern control cabin, ergonomically designed housing all controls for full operation of all dredging functions. Fitted with air conditioning and heating.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
24 volt earth return with 60amp alternator. Full engine instrumentation. Oil and water temperature alarm on engine. Full working lights.
PAINT SYSTEM
Jotun marine grade two part epoxy paint.
BUILD TIME
24 weeks from receipt of order and first payment.
TRIALS
Trials will be conducted at our yard in Skibbereen, CountyCork and will consist of full engine and pump tests and testing of all hydraulic equipment and cutter head.
WARRANTY
12 months parts and labour.
TRAINING
Operator training will be given for five days at your site , which will include instruction on operation, maintenance and launching of dredger.

PAYMENT TERMS
25% with order and three further stage payments to be agreed on placing of order.
Approximate pipeline costs £520 per 12 metre length of 300mm id polyethelene pipe, 10 bar working pressure including butt welded flanges and backing rings. Rubber dredge hose 300mm id 6 metre lengths including flanges £1000 approximately ten required.
