Outstanding Community Engagement Award

The $1,500 Outstanding Community Engagement Award recognizes important, innovative, and mutually beneficial community engagement work at the University of Montana and is open to faculty or staff. Nominees should be deeply involved with exemplary community engagement activities connecting campus to the community through volunteerism, service learning, outreach, partnership development, community based research, etc. This work may be short or long term, may be with a single or multiple community partners, and should have been active within the past two years. Recipients will be selected based on their work to improve community and establish mutually beneficial partnerships between the University and community (local, regional, rural, or international).

Who is eligible:

The nominee can be a non-student campus employee who does community engagement work.

Who may nominate:

Anyone familiar with an individual who does community engagement work.

Nomination requirements:

-Completed nomination form (see below)

-Two letters of recommendation
