OUTDOOR PARTNERSHIP FESTIVAL

Plas y Brenin, Saturday 19th September 2015

We have a FANTASTIC FREE FESTIVAL lined up for you to celebrate 10 years of The Outdoor Partnership! There are a number of water sports and land based activity sessions for club members and club volunteers to choose from. So this is a great chance for you to try a new activity or learn a new skill, and gives leaders an opportunity to brush up their own knowledge and maybe get some new ideas. During the day we have an Award Ceremony, an inspiring guest speaker and a free barbeque in the evening.

The Festival is open to all members and volunteers of the Outdoor Partnership and their families. All are welcome, although children under 10 years old must be accompanied by their parents/guardian and children aged 7 will be accepted with a participating adult.

The Outdoor Partnership are very grateful to our supporters who have enabled this event to take place, particularly Plas y Brenin who have provided us with free use of some of their facilities and equipment; WCVA Volunteering in Wales Fund, BIG Lottery, and GwirVol for funding the event and also to Welsh Cycling and Canoe Wales for their support. We would also like to thank all the volunteer instructors from local clubs, without whom the festival would not take place.

The day is split into three parts, morning activity sessions, afternoon activity sessions and evening BBQ. You can come to any or all parts of it. Places are limited so please only book for sessions you will be attending.

If you find you cannot come to any sessions, please let us know as someone else may want to take your place.

Car parking is also limited therefore please share transport if you can.

Please note, you are welcome to attend any of the day’s events but attendance will be on a “first come, first serve” basis due to safety regulations. Also, activities may change depending on weather/coaches.

It is recommended that you book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. All forms must be completed and returned either by post or email.
