Job Description

Job Title:Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator

Location:36 Park Street, Lincoln, LN1 1UQ

Hours of work:35 hours per week(Part Time applicants considered for each specialism)

Responsible to:Finance & Business Support Director

Job Purpose:To raisethe profile and general awareness of Age UK Lincoln & Kesteven’s products and services. Fundraising across the organisation with the aim of increasing levels of donations and legacies. Managing the day to day marketing activities of the organisation and long term marketing strategy for the charity.

Main Tasks:

  • To actively promote Age UK Lincoln & Kesteven’s products and services, raising the organisations profile.
  • To build, develop and maintain good working relationships with external agencies, partners, media and local community groups.
  • To create, maintain and update all social media sites to inspire wider audiences, promote services and attract new supporters.
  • Create, develop and implement opportunities to increase fundraising and sponsorships.
  • Foster develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, corporations, educational establishments and other professionals.
  • Improve awareness and education of legacy donations.
  • Create, develop and implement promotional and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness and progress of strategies and campaigns.
  • Writing marketing and promotional briefs, work with staff and clients to attain case studies for future use.
  • To design and produce promotional material such as brochures, posters and magazines.
  • Attend internal and external meetings when necessary and present where relevant.
  • To stay up to date with current market trends and identify potential sales.
  • Encourage client participation in activities and events capturing positive experiences.
  • Attend regular meetings to report on progress and future strategies.
  • Organise and co-ordinate events for the benefit of the charity and participate.
  • Undertake regular market analysis and provide reports.
  • Own transport and full clean driving licence.
  • Carry out all other duties as can be reasonable requested by your Line Manager.
