SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Thank you, Wynnton, for your contributions to our joint mission with Allen Temple AME to provide school supplies for neighborhood children. Monetary contributions totaling about $400 and generous gifts of supplies were donated. Twenty seven backpacks were packed for the children at Fluellen Community Center and two for Trinity House. Seventy small bags of supplies were prepared to go into the backpacks when Backpacks of Grace begins in a few weeks. Twelve boxes of supplies, four for each school, were taken to Wynnton Arts Academy, Rigdon Road Elementary and Brewer Elementary School. A note letting the children know that God loves them was placed into the bags. Thank you to everyone from both churches who donated gifts of money, school supplies, and time to make this mission successful. Please continue to pray for the recipients of these supplies and their families.

LOVE OFFERING FOR SUSAN
Susan Simpson has served Wynnton as Adults Ministry Director for 21 years
as a dedicated member of the church staff. She taught Bible Studies, Sunday School classes and planned many events for our church. Susan will be retiring at the end of August. Our Staff-Parish Relations Committee would like to present Susan with a love offering to show our appreciation for all that she has done for our church.
