Thank you for showing an interest in the post that is available for a Teaching Assistant at Our Lady School. The position will be a permanent post, for 5 days per week from 8.30am-3.30pm. This will be inclusive of 30 minutes of lunch duty per day.
The Teaching Assistant will support children’s learning by teaching and assessing small groups of children or individual children as directed by the class teacher. The Teaching Assistant will also be required to deliver Individual Educational Plans and support individual pupils in meeting their targets. The Teaching Assistant will be required to work closely with staff and parents.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with a specialism in Maths or previous experience in Early Years Foundation Stage. As well as this, any knowledge or previous experience of supporting or working with children who have special educational needs or disabilities would also be valued.
