We pray for the repose of the soul of Harvey (Sue) Jackson and Margaret O’Malley mother of Joan Cybulski . May they and all the faithful departed rest in peace. We pray also for an increase in vocations to the religious life, especially for an increase in Diocesan Priesthood

HOSPITAL AUXILIARY

The regular meeting of the Regional Hospital at the Auxiliary will be held on Monday May 29th at 7:00 p.m.

VOCATION DISCERNMENT MASS

Young men of High School age and older are invited to come together at St. Columbkille’s Cathedral on Sunday June 18th to celebrate the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. Bishop Smith will celebrate the mass and invites the pastors and young men to a supper and talk on discerning God’s call in your life. Please contact Fr. Kenney to arrange to join in this gathering.

K OF C NEWS

The Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Communion Breakfast will be held at Saint Paul the Hermit Parish Hall, Sheenboro, Quebec on Sunday June 4th immediately following the 10:00 a.m. mass. Tickets are $10.00 per person ($6.00 child) and must be purchased in advance from Bert Gendron @ 735-5727

CWL NEWS

The CWL closing dinning meeting will be held on June 5th @ 5:30 at Merrybell’s Restaurant at a cost of $20. Advance payment and meal choice is required by May 21st by dropping the information in the collection basket or by calling President Susan Morrow @ 735-1271. Years of Service Pins will be distributed. We hope to see many of you for this special celebration.

ST. ANNE DE BEAUPRE

A unique, spiritually uplifting collection of music composed by Trudy Moessner, a member of Madonna House, have recently released River of Grace, This collection of music is available at www.jimandlisa.ca or the Master’s Way. Proceeds from the sale go toward supporting the Madonna House mission in Russia. (Please see Poster on Bulletin Board)

COLUMBUS HOUSE

Baby bottles are available at our church entrances in support of the Young Parent Program run by Columbus House. The bottles are to be returned to the church office or be brought to Mass on Fathers Day for pick-up by the Columbus House.

VBS – VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Registration for Our Lady of Lourdes Vacation Bible School will beavailable Sunday May 28 and Sunday June 4 after the 10:00 Mass. Completed forms may be dropped off at the Parish Office by June 15. Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
