2.  Financially we are very stable with complete tax payment and auditing.
3.  We currently have highest number of registered members in our association, and I specially would like to thank our registrar Mr. Ray Murtagh and our Treasurer Mr Shane Guy for their efforts in bringing AAAHP into the future with the implementation of the wild apricot online membership database, which has digitalized the registration and renewal process.
4.  We have stronger working committee who works tirelessly through the year by attending various teleconference and meetings to improve our profession in all states across Australia.
5.  We have involved in PS08 Review with ANZCA and have provided our feedback to them and then ANZCA has accepted our valuable feedback and recognized it. And I would like to specially thank our Working Party and specific thanks to Mr. Andy Schermuly and Ms. Vicki Swaine to bring this about.(Current review of PS08 is available in ANZCA website)
6.  We have been working closely with different groups including TAFE from NSW and Queensland, and Hospitals in and around Sydney with the prospect of developing and running a Diploma course soon in NSW.
7.  The Diploma Course in Queensland through South bank is no longer named the Diploma of paramedical science; it will be called Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology.
8.  We have created great relationship with NZATS and hence we share our educational knowledge with them and we are looking forward to have one association of Trans-Tasman like ANZCA in future.
9.  We try our best to provide educational fund for all AAAHP members across country depending on our financial status.
10.  Every year we present the ALISON HOLLOWAY award in the name of Dr. Alison Holloway, a tireless supporter of Anaesthetic Technician and Assistant. This year Carefusion has agreed to Sponsor this award for the next 3 years, I would also like to congratulate those AAAHP members who submitted papers for this years award and from the Judging panels feedback these papers were quite outstanding
Finally, the AAAHP committee will work towards making our profession better and provide a better future for all Anaesthetic Technician and Assistants all over Australia. In order to achieve what we want my humble request would be, we all need to have stronger and united front of Anaesthetic Technician and assistant across Australia leaving our egos behind and fight for Recognition of our Profession nationally and hence get the National and APHRA registration
