OSHRM BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Attendees: Pam Cox, Jamie Rhoads, Gina Mitchell, Dave Phillips, Mark Leonard, Lisa Knott, Mike Slonecker, Lana Chaney, and Michelle Drake
Here are the agenda items that were discussed:
Will members that attended the June meeting be allowed to apply their 10.00 re-imbursement for lunch at the Aug meeting?
· The list of attendees was given to Lisa and all agreed that members who attended the June meeting would receive credit toward their lunch at the Aug membership meeting instead of trying to reimburse.
SHRM Webinar Aug 6th.
· Dave said that attendance would be low as few had signed up as of Thursday. He was going to go by OCTC this afternoon to check out the location. Dave will also pick up rolls for the webinar.
Truckload Sale
· We were still trying to get in touch with Beth to see if we could get the same location that we had in March. We cannot advertise until we get a confirmation on the location.
Beth’s position on the Board
· We have not had anyone to volunteer for Beth’s position as of yet. Lisa agreed to take up money at the membership meetings for the SHRM foundation.
NCRC presentation at Oct meeting
· Here is the proposed agenda for the Oct 12th membership meeting:
o 11:00-11:45 lunch will be provided by NCRC
o 11:45-12:15 NCRC presentation
o 12:15 – 1:00 Greg Black’s presentation
o 1:00 – 1:15 Q&A for Greg
o Anita will send an application to Michelle for certification credit for Greg’s presentation
Other items of discussion were:
· There will be drawing at the Aug meeting for 2 free admissions to the KY SHRM conference for the 87 members that renewed their membership for 2010 before Jan 31st.
· 2011 Planning Session
o The planning session will be held at the Field House on Nov 15th at 5:30. New members of the Board are also included.
o Pam Cox suggested that one of our presentations for 2011 should be on OSHA
o A basket giveaway should be purchased from the Moonlite for the Leadership conference
