OSB Labor & Employment Section Annual Conference and CLE Scholarship Opportunities

The OSB Labor & Employment Law Section is pleased to offer need-based scholarships for lawyers to attend the Section’s Annual Conference and CLE, Navigating Uncharted Waters: Labor & Employment Law in a New Era, October 27-28, 2017, at Salishan Spa & Golf Resort. The Section’s Outreach Committee will review all applications. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need, and a combination of the following:

·  participation/ interest in the practice of labor and/or employment law,

·  outreach activities in the community,

·  OSB or specialty bar involvement, leadership activities, or other unique contributions to the legal profession.

·  Applicant Resume (Word/PDF attachment)

·  Applicant Questions:

1  Why are you interested in attending the Annual Labor & Employment Law Conference and CLE?

2  Explain your area of practice and experience level.

3  Explain any participation in Pro Bono activities, Community Outreach, and/or experience in any OSB or specialty bar association activities.

4  Explain your financial need for the scholarship.*
