Orinda Aquatics 2011 Collegiate Recap

Recap

Orinda Aquatics had twenty-five swimmers competing for collegiate teams across the country. They carried on a tradition of excellence in academics, character, leadership, and team commitment, and they continued to develop as swimmers (yellow highlight shows a lifetime best time) and athletes. They broke collegiate records (see notes below) and helped their teams win Conference and National titles. We could not be more proud of each of them.

National Connection: Tommy Dowley was a member of the Cal Berkeley Division 1 National Champion Men’s Swimming Team, OA alum Kristen Lewis was the Assistant Coach on the Cal Berkeley Division 1 National Champion Women’s Swimming Team, Brooke Woodward was member of the Emory Eagle Division 3 National Championship Team, and coach Jon Behnke’s Denison team won the Men’s Division 3 title. Congratulations to those swimmers and all of our OA alumni.
